Karley first appears during Captain Buccaneer's push to recover the search party lost inside the tunnel that the Homunculus Sloth had carved beneath Briggs. He resurfaces later running communications as Major General Armstrong takes part in the seizure of Central Command. In the English dub his voice work comes from Jason Liebrecht, who also played Alfons Heiderich in the Conqueror of Shamballa film, and those same English credits misspelled his name twice, once as Carly and once as Curly. Uncommonly for so minor a figure, he was even given his own eyecatch.
