Grape

Grape's body is threaded with dark brown, bark-like roots that wrap her right arm, one knee, and stretches of her chest and left arm, doubling as weapons she can launch. She has fair skin, pointed ears, and a blonde bob, her eyes shadowed in pale blue. A lilac bodysuit masks her mouth and nose beneath a purple one-piece, and green leaves crown her left shoulder to match her boots.

She fights alongside her fellow Plant Sisters and shows a ruthless streak, driving the fatal blow into Nephrite without hesitation. A telling moment comes when she gasps for breath after nearly losing her head, a hint that these monsters share something with human biology.

In the twenty-fourth episode, Zoisite orders the Plant Sisters to abduct Naru Osaka and bait Nephrite into a trap meant to secure the Black Crystal. Nephrite briefly gets the upper hand on Grape, pressing a blade to her throat, but once he and Naru slip away the sisters regroup. Grape sinks her thorns into Nephrite, and the barbs slowly drain his life until he dies, making her his true killer. The Sailor Guardians then arrive, and a combined Moon Tiara Action and Fire Soul from Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars destroys Grape together with her companions Housenka and Suzuran. Her name is never actually spoken on screen and survives only in supplementary materials. She is also the first of two monsters of the day to slay a redeemed enemy, the later case being the villain who kills Hawk's Eye.
