Appearance
Haikyun springs from an ordinary volleyball, and that origin runs through her entire design, an athletic monster built to play as much as to attack. Her form belongs to the Daimon ranks created by the Death Busters.
Abilities
Her offense revolves around the game she takes her name from. She can hurl a charged energy volleyball at a target and pin victims inside a stretched volleyball net, converting a court's own equipment into projectiles and traps.

History
Kaolinite set Haikyun loose on an athlete named Tsutomu Asai, whose Pure Heart Crystal she tore free and began batting around like a game ball. Sailor Venus, no stranger to the sport, spiked the crystal back out of her control, and Sailor Moon finished the Daimon with Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Haikyun also resurfaces as a revived boss in the quiz-style Sailor Moon S video game, and she stands out among Daimons for shouting a cheer for Japan rather than the usual line as she is destroyed.
