Renji is the very last Daimon to appear in the 90s Sailor Moon anime, a rogue monster that hatches on her own after the Death Busters have already been crushed. Her name plays on the Japanese word for a microwave oven, the appliance her Daimon Egg emerged from.

Appearance

Renji's core body echoes the shapeless, undifferentiated Daimons, a jelly like blob in pinkish red, though hers comes fitted with gleaming yellow eyes and legs that taper into high heeled boots. A green helmet modeled on a medieval knight's headgear sits atop her frame, and the Daimon oven is lodged in her midsection, its leftover bulk draped across her hips to cover her lower body. Cables trailing off the oven climb up near her chest and now and then flicker to life like a fluorescent tube.

Personality

What separates Renji from the other Daimons is her sheer independence, for she answers to no organization whatsoever. Consumed by a desperate drive to reach the Daimon Oven, she fuses with it the instant she can and resolves to harvest every Pure Heart Crystal she can lay hands on, unbothered by the fact that the Death Busters have already been wiped out.

Abilities

Born from the last surviving Daimon egg after Pharaoh 90 is beaten, the creature crawls into the Daimon oven and merges into Renji, then sets about draining Pure Heart Crystals and clashing with the Sailor Guardians. She fights at blistering speed, battering the guardians while dodging their counterstrikes, and she channels the oven to unleash toxic, radioactive bursts able to scorch solid matter such as hair. Her arms extend to seize opponents, and at one point she rips loose the oven's cable to whip the guardians with its stored electricity. She proves capable of lifting several Heart Crystals at once and even from afar, and she seems to borrow Mimete's Daimons' habit of swallowing them whole. Her rampage carries on until Sailor Chibi Moon returns from the future to strike her, Tuxedo Mask lands a follow up blow, and Sailor Moon finishes her off with Moon Spiral Heart Attack, leaving only the oven to topple over and burst apart.
