Hitoshi Itō

Itō served as a producer on the concluding chapters of Attack on Titan, credited on The Final Season, The Final Season Part 2, and Final Season: The Final Chapters as the franchise transitioned its animation production to MAPPA. In that capacity he helped steer the show's final arc, from Marley's introduction through Eren's war on the outside world, into completed broadcast and film releases. His producing credit places him among the small group of behind-the-scenes staff who carried the series across its final, highest-stakes stretch. He has also spoken publicly alongside Wit Studio leadership about the handoff of the franchise between studios.

Outside Attack on Titan, Itō is closely associated with Wit Studio, where his production credits include the vampire drama Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song, the balloon-fighting film Bubble, and the horror series Vampire in the Garden, plus a segment of Star Wars: Visions. He has also worked with Production I.G, serving as chief producer on Great Pretender and in supporting production roles on the animated films The Boy and the Beast and Mirai. His name regularly appears in trade interviews discussing Wit Studio's slate and the challenges of handing a long-running franchise to another studio mid-run.
