John Swasey

Outside Attack on Titan, John Swasey is known for voicing Gendo Ikari across the Rebuild of Evangelion films, Van Hohenheim in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Lord Death in Soul Eater. He also plays Sir Crocodile in the English dub of One Piece and All For One in My Hero Academia. In Attack on Titan itself, he voices Dhalis Zachary, the military premier who oversees Paradis Island's three regiments.

Beyond his voice work, Swasey founded the Anime Dallas convention, which held its first event in 2018. He remains active as a prolific ADR director, a role that runs alongside his decades of on-mic performances.

John Swasey voices Dhalis Zachary in the English dub of Attack on Titan, the military premier who presides as judge over Eren Yeager's tribunal after Eren reveals his Titan power. Zachary ultimately accepts Commander Erwin Smith's proposal to place Eren under Scout Regiment control rather than have him executed. Swasey first took on the role in 2014 and continued through Season 3 in 2018.
