Miyuki Sawashiro

Sawashiro is part of the voice cast tied to the Berserk franchise, a credit that sits inside one of the busiest résumés in Japanese voice acting. She has built a career on versatility rather than repetition, moving comfortably between grim drama and broad comedy from one project to the next. The credit fits that same pattern of range across an enormous variety of genres and mediums.

Sawashiro's anime work ranges from the stoic Celty Sturluson, the headless motorcyclist at the center of Durarara!!, to the sharp-tongued thief Fujiko Mine in later entries of the Lupin the Third franchise. She also plays Kurapika, one of the leads in Hunter × Hunter, and voices Bishamon, the battle-hardened deity of Noragami. Beyond those roles, she has taken the doll Shinku in Rozen Maiden, provided narration outside anime altogether, and portrayed Kanbaru Suruga in the Monogatari series entry Bakemonogatari.

In games, Sawashiro is the voice behind Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact and Acheron in Honkai: Star Rail, two of the biggest gacha releases of the past decade. Long before either title, she played Elizabeth in Persona 3 and took the title role in Catherine, and she has voiced Ivy Valentine throughout the Soulcalibur series.
