Babu

Babu cut a tall figure with cropped brown hair, dark eyes, and a notably oversized nose. He dressed in a grey turtleneck and matching trousers under a purple flak jacket, which carried a single chest pocket on the left and a stomach pocket on the right. A one-piece bandana bearing a forehead protector wrapped his head completely, and a brown pouch dangled from the back of his belt.

Money drove Babu above all else. He proved willing to murder a fellow shinobi for gain and showed no reluctance about turning his attacks on children.

Babu belonged to a squad tasked with carrying a scroll of classified intelligence, a delivery placed under the protection of Team Minato. An ambush in the forest scattered the escort, leaving Rin Nohara and Kakashi Hatake to shepherd the Yugakure ninja. At a bridge, their teammate Shinbu was hurt and tumbled off a cliff, after which Babu and Inagi dropped their disguise, striking down their own leader Iwato from behind. Kakashi threw up an earthen wall and hit back, wounding Babu with his blade, and the two traitors withdrew. Iwato, dying, revealed he had suspected infiltrators and split the mission across two scrolls as bait, the real one entrusted to Shinbu. Obito Uchiha led the hunt for the pair, and when he and Rin located Shinbu, the traitors found him too and pressed their assault, overwhelming Kakashi by sheer numbers until Minato Namikaze arrived and killed every one of the enemy.
