Sadoru is a kunoichi of the Hidden Leaf and a recently appointed instructor at the Ninja Academy. Devoted to her students and to her colleague Iruka, she turns to him for help when several of her pupils deface a statue of the Third Hokage.
Sadoru wears her long black hair up in a bun, with several loose strands springing free, three above her forehead and one beside each ear. Blue-eyed and marked by red lipstick, she dresses in a short-sleeved Leaf flak jacket.
Sadoru is warm-hearted and dependable, though the sight of her students defacing a statue of the Third Hokage genuinely rattled her. She thinks highly of Iruka and was struck by the clever way he coaxed Tsukune into owning up to the vandalism.

Iruka notes that Sadoru had only recently joined the Academy staff. Around the time of Naruto and Hinata's wedding, while Iruka was struggling to prepare something for the couple's video, he came upon her fretting over the vandalized statue. She watched, impressed, as Iruka picked out the culprits and maneuvered Tsukune into a confession. Sadoru afterward brought him word that the Scroll of Seals had gone missing, and later still she asked whether he would be delivering a congratulatory address at Naruto's wedding.
