Gameplay

Combat keeps the fast 3D fighting of the original Ninja Destiny while adding maze-like Quest Mode stages that play more like a dungeon crawler, complete with random encounters in an RPG style. Wireless multiplayer lets Naruto fans face off locally on separate DS units.

Reception

Reviews were mixed: GameSpot rated it around 5 out of 10 for falling short as a Naruto title, while IGN was more favorable at 7 out of 10, praising its graphics and combat over the first game. The European release added several region-exclusive characters.
