Gameplay

Ultimate Ninja 3 is the first game in the series to use CGI cutscenes, and it lets players equip Ultimate Jutsu moves before a match. Clashing jutsu of equal strength trigger a button mashing contest, and fighters can trip temporary forms like Sasuke's Curse Mark or Rock Lee's Eight Inner Gates, or lock in a lasting Nine Tailed Naruto transformation for an entire battle.

Story & Modes

Hero's History mode replays the series' major fights in order, from Naruto's first training bout against Kakashi through the Naruto versus Sasuke finale that closes Part I of the anime. A separate Ultimate Path mode offers RPG style missions that let players summon support characters and unlock content. The roster reaches 42 characters, with story content drawn from anime episodes up to 135.
