Gameplay

The game plays as a 2.5D side-scrolling action adventure. Players select from the available Straw Hats, including Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Nico Robin, and Chopper, then clear a series of challenge areas modeled on the crew's journey. Story and Setting

The stages span the East Blue Saga through the Skypiea arc. The title also folds in original material, most notably a non-canon character named Blyue who has eaten a made-up Devil Fruit, the Mini Mini no Mi, giving the adventure content not seen in the manga.

Development and Release

Artdink developed the game and Bandai published it under the Japanese title Land Land. It reached PlayStation 2 in Japan on July 29, 2004, followed by a European release on December 10, 2004, but it never came to North America.
