Hikaru Midorikawa

In the Ufotable adaptation of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Midorikawa lends his voice to the Temple Demon. The part is one of many antagonist and supporting turns across a career that began in the late 1980s, and it joins a filmography that spans long-running action, fantasy, and game franchises. His distinctive delivery, honed over decades of leading and villainous roles, makes even a single-arc demon a memorable presence within the series.

Born on May 2, 1968, in Otawara, Tochigi, Midorikawa is represented by Aoni Production and has worked steadily since 1988. His best-known performances include Heero Yuy in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Tamahome in Fushigi Yugi, Kaede Rukawa in Slam Dunk, and Zelgadis Greywords in Slayers. He has also voiced Softon in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Gridman in Gridman the Hyper Agent, Ryuho in s-CRY-ed, Garou in One-Punch Man, Zora Ideale in Black Clover, and Cherry Blossom in SK8 the Infinity. In video games he is recognized as Marth in the Fire Emblem series, Ein and Hayate in Dead or Alive, Akihiko Sanada in Persona 3, Lancer in Fate/Zero, Rantaro Amami in Danganronpa V3, and Lilia Vanrouge in Disney: Twisted-Wonderland.
