Shunsuke Takeuchi

In the studio Ufotable's production of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," Takeuchi lends his voice to Hantengu, one of the Upper Rank demons. The role sits within a busy career that began in 2013 and spans anime, music, and stage adaptations, and it stands among his most prominent antagonist parts. Affiliated with the agency 81 Produce, he has steadily moved from rookie recognition toward leading and high-profile villain roles, of which Hantengu is a notable example.

Takeuchi has voiced a wide range of characters across popular series. His credits include the Producer in "The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls," Alexander Yamato in "King of Prism," Juza Hyodo in "A3!," Revolver in "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS," Zack Walker in "Astra Lost in Space," and Brawler in "Akudama Drive." The breadth of these roles, ranging from idol-franchise figures to action and card-game protagonists, reflects his versatility as a performer.

Takeuchi was named Best Rookie Actor at the 10th Seiyu Awards, an early honor recognizing his rise in the industry. Beyond voice acting, he is active in music as part of the duo Amadeus alongside rapper Lotus Juice, where he serves as vocalist and music producer under the stage name Jack Westwood, a name also credited to his production work. On September 5, 2022, he announced his marriage to Misato Kato.
