Jamanen

Jamanen makes her entrance not as a creature but as red wine sitting in a glass Calaveras holds. Her genuine form is a woman shaped completely out of red gelatin, a pliable substance she can stretch and reshape freely. Only one other Monster of the Day, Renji, shares this gel-based body.

Her gummy red-jell body doubles as her weapon. She engulfs and pins opponents inside it, trapping several Guardians at a time, and that hold is the backbone of her offense. She can also stiffen part of herself into a remarkably lifelike weapon, extending a long, lethal sword from her own arm to strike.

Dropping in through the charm shop ceiling, Jamanen backs Petz and Calaveras in their clash with Sailor Venus and Sailor Jupiter. Calaveras loops her whip around Venus's neck while the droid encases Jupiter in her adhesive gel, and Petz keeps shocking the trapped fighter, and then Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars enter the fray. The newcomers free their teammates, so Sailor Jupiter strikes back with Sparkling Wide Pressure while Sailor Venus lashes out with her Venus Love Me Chain. Judging themselves an even match, Petz and Calaveras command the droid to finish the Guardians and take flight. Jamanen wraps every Guardian in gel, but Usagi turns into Sailor Moon and enters the battle; the droid shapes a blade from her arm and lunges, only to be killed by Moon Princess Halation. She was the first droid Calaveras ever fielded, and she turns up again later in the video game Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, which carries the subtitle Another Story.
