A chūnin from the hidden village of Takigakure, Agara had only a fleeting appearance that ended in tragedy. Serving on a routine mission, he crossed paths with Kabuto Yakushi and became an early casualty of the scientist's deadly new experiments.
Agara kept his black hair in a short, spiky crop, and his eyes were small and dark.
As a Waterfall chūnin, Agara showed the diligence expected of his rank, joining his squadmates in giving chase the instant an outsider was discovered among them.
During the run-up to the Fourth Shinobi World War, he was carrying out a mission with two fellow Takigakure ninja when Kabuto Yakushi slipped in among them. The squad set off after the intruder, but Kabuto turned on Agara and broke his neck, using the killing to gauge his newly gained abilities. Anko Mitarashi later came upon his corpse, and the trail guided her toward the Mountains' Graveyard.
