History

Though Todoroki was sure his brother had perished, Akio in truth lived on, guiding a band of orphaned youngsters somewhere in the Land of Forests. The Shinobazu abducted him, and Naruto, Todoroki, and Gantetsu broke him free of their lair. Given the choice, Akio would not go home with his brother; he stayed with Gantetsu to help watch over the children. Todoroki sent him off with kind words and at last passed along the present he had meant to give him back in their younger days.
