Amino belongs to the Bamboo Village and is the daughter of Iō. Remembered as gentle and much-loved, she meets a grim end in either account: slain in a raid while carrying her first child in the novel, or turned into an exploding human during the anime's siege of her home.
Amino is a young woman with wide brown eyes and cropped brown hair, dressed in a tan kimono.
Chino thought highly of her, describing Amino as a truly wonderful person, and in the anime that warmth showed when she cooked for Chino and Nowaki and treated them kindly as they arrived.
Amino's fate splits across two versions. By the novel's telling, Iō's daughter had married and settled in a village close by, and was on the verge of delivering her first child when the Dark Thunder Group raided the place and killed her with everyone else there; the news drove her mother to die of grief, while her father vowed to avenge them. The anime instead follows her home's assault by exploding humans: Chino ushered the women and children into a shelter, and once Sasuke Uchiha had put the attackers down, she went to make sure Amino was safe. Rather than reassurance, the sheltering villagers spilled out in a panic as Amino, herself now an exploding human, stepped forward, drove a knife into her neck, and blew apart.

We ranked the six most popular women of Naruto from worst to first, and our number one is going to start a fight. The official poll got it wrong....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
