Appearance

Aniki is a fairly tall man whose short grey hair, shaved into a zigzag along the temples, resembles licking flames. Deep streaks sit beneath his black eyes, a red tattoo marks the skin near his left eye, and his brows are missing entirely, while round earrings pierce his ears. He wears blue trousers and black boots with a white tee, thrown over with a fur-collared orange jacket, and a golden chain bearing a pendant of four cubes hangs at his neck.

Personality

Aniki is brusque and headstrong, quick to turn on even those who assist him, striking them when they grate on his nerves. A lazy, combative streak led him to leave assignments unfinished during his shinobi days, and he favours strong drink. He runs cruel and hot-tempered besides, menacing Osuka into obedience and, having also grabbed the Seventh Hokage's daughter, showing no hesitation about selling Himawari off to any of Naruto's enemies for a hefty sum, untroubled by the prospect of Naruto coming after him.

Abilities

Having graduated as a genin, Aniki commands a shinobi's basics. His taijutsu is respectable enough to trade blows with Himawari Uzumaki, a Byakugan user, and his durability let him shrug off a Gentle Fist strike; he also carries some authority, with followers who heed his commands. His real strength is Fire Release, through which he can ring a foe in flame with the Fire Dragon Wall, scatter small fireballs with the Phoenix Sage Fire Technique, and loose a huge torrent of fire with the Great Fireball Technique, though his flames proved too weak to trouble Kawaki.

In the New Era, Aniki was hired to abduct Osuka Kamakura for ransom, and when Oppo and Teru also seized Himawari Uzumaki, he beat them for straying from the plan before resolving to sell her to Naruto's foes. Returning to find the pair had leaked details about him, he blew up a crate with Fire Release and forbade them from talking further. That night, as his drunken underlings slept, Himawari and Osuka broke loose; Himawari attacked, but he weathered her blows and began to strangle her, until Kawaki arrived, shrugged off his fire, and beat him. Arrested, he spat curses at whoever had put him up to it.
