Ashina

Reddish-brown eyes sit beneath Ashina's long, dirty-blonde hair. For her soap-opera role she dons a sleeveless red dress, teaming it with black shorts, red boots, and fingerless gloves in black, plus a purely decorative shinobi headband.

Self-absorbed to the core, Ashina constantly foists her errands onto anyone within reach. Threats on her life barely register anymore; a menacing fan letter earns nothing more than a shrug before she calls for the next one. She judges performers by their craft rather than their faces, which is why Tomaru's looks-driven grip on productions grates on her. So consumed is she by public standing that she orchestrates a phony abduction to prop up a fading reputation, and her hunger for glory runs deep enough that she would gladly perish in a suicide bombing if doing so enshrined her name in the headlines.

After menacing letters target both Ashina and her co-star Tomaru, Team 7 and Team 10 draw the assignment of guarding the pair. On the set she keeps Team 7 busy with chores, sending them to sort through her fan mail and fetch her meals. Tomaru is then abducted, and Ashina is handed the ransom to deliver, only for the truth to surface: she engineered the whole kidnapping herself, and she is taken into custody.
