History
Of all the men confined at the Southern Hideout, Bakuto had been locked away the longest, which is what forged his attachment to the others. His chance at freedom arrived once rumors spread that Sasuke Uchiha had ended Orochimaru. Suigetsu offered to release him, asking only that he circulate news of Orochimaru's defeat in return, a bargain Bakuto accepted without hesitation.
