Dokan

A long brown mullet, heavy eyebrows, and grey eyes mark Dokan out. As an Academy student he wore a red vest over a plain dark shirt, with bandages wound around his wrists and more wrapped across his midsection, finished with grey trousers and blue sandals. Reaching genin brought one addition to the look, a blue Konohagakure forehead protector.

Dokan has a short fuse and a taste for violence, lording himself over the younger students. He is not above underhanded tactics either, ganging up on a smaller, weaker group with a crowd of stronger friends to settle a grudge.

Trouble starts when Dokan collides with Saisu Kamano and two other freshmen and lashes out at them. The boys duck behind Itachi, who calmly raises his hand to offer a formal duel, but Dokan ignores the gesture and attacks outright, only to be put down at once by the young genius. Humiliated, he rounds up a large group of friends to swarm Itachi's outnumbered circle.

He does manage to land a solid blow during the melee, then watches in shock as his target dissolves, revealing that he had been striking a shadow clone the whole time; his raw strength in those years was enough to crack the ground with a punch. Later promoted to genin, Dokan looks on with resentment as the far younger Itachi graduates beside him.
