Himawari Uzumaki is a young kunoichi of Konohagakure, the daughter of Naruto and Hinata, and a descendant of both the Uzumaki and Hyuga clans. After Kurama is reborn within her, she becomes the fox's fourth and newest jinchuriki.
The likeness Himawari shares with her mother is striking, from the dark-blue hair she keeps in a hime-cut with straight bangs to the way it flares out at the sides and back like her brother's. A single stray tuft resembling a leaf stem sits atop her head. From her father she inherited blue eyes, the whisker marks on each cheek, and his unruly hair, and she is widely regarded as adorable. As a toddler she wore a pink sweater over a layered white skirt; visiting Neji's grave she donned a yellow sunflower-patterned shirt with red shorts. Once she enrolled at the Academy she adopted a black turtleneck under a yellow jacket with grey shorts. Three years after Boruto departed Konoha she grew markedly taller with hair falling to mid-back, and took to a yellow cropped top bearing a sunflower design, baggy blue trousers with a long pink belt, and a black choker.
Bright and full of energy, Himawari loves to draw, especially portraits of her family, and delights in cooking and playing with others. She grew up close to her parents' old friends and their children, calling Sakura her aunt and inheriting her father's fondness for nicknames. Much like her grandfather Minato, she is patient, humble, and able to stay composed when danger arises, extending her kindness even to strangers and to wild animals that accept her calm approach. Beneath her curiosity lies a surprisingly mature and responsible streak: she helps her mother run the household, commits fully to any task, and prefers to sample many career paths rather than assume she must become a ninja because of her bloodline. She quietly understands how her father's Hokage duties keep him away, though she longs for him to be home. She is not free of temper, however, and when provoked enough she can turn violent much like her grandmother Kushina, usually with no memory of the outburst afterward. After Boruto left the village, an orphaned Himawari resolved to grow stronger for those she loves, keeping up her training and adapting quickly even to Kurama's sudden reappearance in her life.
Long before any formal ninja training, Himawari displayed prodigious talent thanks to her combined Uzumaki and Hyuga heritage, once knocking out her immensely powerful father with a single blow that terrified her brother. As a small child she awakened the Byakugan in a fit of anger, and even without instruction the dojutsu granted her near 360-degree vision, sight through solid surfaces, and clear perception of the chakra pathway system. By around age ten she could summon it at will, though holding it for long remains a struggle. Her Uzumaki lineage gives her a potent life-force and remarkably advanced chakra control, letting her scale trees on her first attempt and launch heaps of scrap metal with one strike. Trained further by her mother's clan, she wields the Gentle Fist skillfully enough to overpower larger and more experienced opponents, and she has grown proficient with shurikenjutsu and even learned to manipulate her hair like grasping tendrils.
After Kurama's demise, the tailed beast resurrected inside Himawari, drawn to her by her heritage, and her compatibility with the fox surpasses that of every jinchuriki before her. Once able to tap the power only in moments of rage, she quickly learned to draw on it deliberately and to converse with Kurama within her mind. In this state her irises redden and slit, her nails and fangs lengthen, and her hair flows in nine tail-like locks reminiscent of Kushina. Jura observed that her potency resembles a genuine tailed beast rather than a mere host, and she proved capable of unleashing a Tailed Beast Ball strong enough to rival his own. Her strength, speed, and regeneration surge tremendously, and her bond with Kurama lets her heal others as well, though excessive self-healing rapidly drains her stamina to the point of collapse. Because their partnership is genuine, she suffers no harm to body or mind from the power and even gains immunity to genjutsu.

We ranked the six most popular women of Naruto from worst to first, and our number one is going to start a fight. The official poll got it wrong....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
