Himushi

Purple markings frame Himushi's face, which is set with dark eyes beneath a mane of white hair that hangs shaggily to his shoulders. A bandana of red and black sits on his head, and his kimono top is divided down the centre: one side copies that same red-and-black bandana motif while its opposite side stays a plain red. Rounding out the look are dark trousers, sandals, and a trailing sash shaped like the tail of a monkey.

Sly and sharp-witted, Himushi grasps exactly what his own methods can and cannot do and how best to turn them on an enemy. He is a patient schemer too, content to let an exploding insect ripen before it goes off and to finish any survivor once it does.

Insects are Himushi's whole arsenal. He sends them out to shadow a mark and then to ruin it from the inside, letting the swarm feed on a victim's energy so his living bombs can grow and burst. He can also conjure doubles of himself that break apart into smoke the instant an attack lands. Sugi Village once retained him and the Nokizaru to run down the Fourth Raikage along with his troops after Sugi's scroll of guarded techniques went missing. Shadowing them, the group loosed a dazzling flare that scattered microscopic bombs into the air, and the Kumogakure ninja breathed them in; the trick claimed Nigai before A withdrew with his sick companion. Himushi went on to watch A and Tsunade in secret, plotting to win the scroll back by releasing a fresh wave of insects and holding out the antidote as leverage, yet he and his people slipped away the moment Kumo's reinforcements showed up, so how it ended is never revealed.
