Iwazō is a thickset, muscular man who closely favours his eldest brother, though he carries a stockier frame. Dark markings ring his eyes, his head is shaved, and studded black bands circle his wrists. He wraps his arms in bandages and wears the Iwagakure flak jacket bare-chested over the village's traditional lapelled trousers and sandals.

History
Iwazō commands Earth Release, and his Ground Bedrock technique lets him lock enemies in place. Like his brothers he seems to skim across the ground when he moves. When Kosuke Maruboshi made off with intelligence tied to an Iwagakure plot, the brothers ran him down, and as the messenger tried to break away, Iwazō sealed him with Ground Bedrock. The three then closed in, meaning to squeeze Kosuke for information on Konohagakure, only for Team Asuma and their Formation Ino-Shika-Cho to undo the whole scheme.
