Appearance

Shibai cuts a lean figure draped in ragged black robes, his long hair spilling down to the small of his back. A pair of horns sweep upward from his head like a crown. A Byakugan sits in his right eye, while a Rinnegan splits open vertically on his forehead, echoing the eyes Momoshiki gained after absorbing Kinshiki and the ones Kaguya took on after eating Chakra Fruit.

Personality

Little of Shibai's inner character survives beyond his ruthlessness. Across countless ages he kept reviving himself through the power of Kama and devoured a great many Chakra Fruits, and reaching that harvest meant laying waste to world after world. The lives snuffed out to feed his ascension seem to have meant nothing to him. In time he was judged to have crossed over into true godhood, his powers spoken of as divine miracles.

Abilities

Once he attained his supposed divinity, Shibai's techniques earned the name Shinjutsu. Wielded without a single hand seal, they were said to summon storms with a mere gesture and call down lightning with a shout. His repertoire included gazing through time, opening black bands that let him cross vast distances in an instant, turning all harm back on whoever inflicted it, and bending reality to whatever he wished through sheer omnipotence. Amado later theorized that Shibai had climbed to a higher plane and cast his body aside, a claim Momoshiki quietly confirmed to Boruto. Amado eventually recovered those physical remains and spliced Shibai's DNA into the members of Kara, hoping to grant them fragments of his Shinjutsu, though only Code, Ada, Daemon, and, after a brush with death, Koji Kashin ever manifested any.
