Takishi was one of the inmates held at Orochimaru's Northern Hideout. Brash and unwilling to concede defeat, he crossed paths with Sasuke's team during their hunt for Itachi and paid for his taunting with his life.
Like every captive under Orochimaru, Takishi went about in the plain uniform of the hideout, a white shirt paired with trousers of the same colour. His hair was cropped and unruly in a pale shade that the anime rendered as black, and his eyes were dark.
Pride ran deep in Takishi, and losing was something he could not stomach. Even as death closed in from his wounds, he refused to hold his tongue, hurling insults at the very people who had beaten him.
