Tango

Tango has eyes set at a slight slant above a rather flat nose. He hides his dull black hair under a forehead protector worn bandanna-style, and he wears the usual Cloud shinobi gear, including the single-strapped flak jacket.

On the battlefield Tango proved a dependable support member, carrying out the tasks handed to him and standing with his squad to shield those who could not defend themselves.

Assigned to the Surprise Attack Division, Tango was directed by Kankurō to raise a chakra transmission antenna so the unit could stay in contact with the Intelligence Division. When Akatsuki's raiding platoon struck, his division pushed back; after Omoi freed the controlled Tokuma and Ranka, Tango caught Ranka and, once she was left inside Ittan's earthen fort, remained at the rear with Hoheto to guard Kiri as the medic worked. A later clash with reinforcements went badly when Ibuse's poison mist paralysed the group, and they were carried off for treatment by the samurai of the Fifth Division. His name may nod to the letter T in the spelling alphabet, suiting his communications post, and a fourth databook error mistakenly filed him as a Leaf ninja.
