Teru

Teru cuts a short figure, his dark hair shaved into a mohawk and his eyebrows almost absent above dark eyes. He dresses in a sleeveless black one-piece under a yellow vest, finishing the outfit with gloves, elbow pads, and sandals.

Teru thinks of himself as a washout, and he sticks with Aniki mostly out of gratitude for being taken in, even as the man constantly puts him down. He has no appetite for real cruelty or trickery, so he blurts out details about Aniki while chatting with someone he believes is a captive. Discovering that the girl they grabbed is the Hokage's daughter leaves him panicked. Once caught, he seems genuinely ready to start fresh. His talkative streak even shapes his name, which plays on the word tell.

Failing his Academy exams marked Teru as short on basic ninja training, yet he and Oppo still managed to shadow Osuka Kamakura and snatch her together with Himawari Uzumaki as the two left school, slipping through the streets without drawing notice. Holed up in a disused warehouse, the pair bickered over how the extra hostage wrecked their plan while they waited on Aniki, who scolded them once he arrived for straying from it. Their loose talk with the captives earned another warning to keep quiet. When the two dozed off, the girls slipped free and bound their feet, and Teru could not defuse the clash that later broke out between Aniki and Himawari. After Kawaki put Aniki down, everyone was taken into custody; Himawari looked in on Teru and Oppo, and they vowed to make a clean start once their sentence was served.
