History
During the events of Six-Tails Unleashed, Team 7 escorts Hotaru back to the Tsuchigumo village, where the residents greet her return with hostility. The chief, by contrast, seems delighted to see her, but once Team 7 departs he leads her to a room and locks her in with the Magaki Group, bandits chasing the clan's forbidden Fury technique. After Hotaru slips free and the bandits give chase, Naruto returns to press the chief for answers, only to learn the village has not even begun searching for her, so his team sets out on its own. Once Team 7 stops the bandits and rescues Hotaru, the chief watches them leave and remarks that, with the forbidden technique gone, the villagers will finally accept her.
