Appearance

Fair-skinned and bearded with a pointed goatee, Yomi wears his long black hair loose and looks out with light tan eyes ringed by black pupils. His outfit runs grey beneath a black trench coat, finished with martial artist shoes. A stitched wound splits his torso from the upper chest down toward the waist, cut open to admit Moryo's spirit, and the longer that possession lasts, the more gaunt and lined he becomes.

Personality

Single-minded devotion drives Yomi, who will go to nearly any length to see his aims through. He keeps his ambitions unspoken rather than boasting of them, convinced that his will would outlast even his death. Toward his followers he is imperious, dismissing them as wretched fools, and he shares their swaggering overconfidence in what the group can do.

Abilities

Yomi is a formidable medical practitioner. He channels dark chakra to reinforce the chakra of others, letting them battle longer and reach for stronger techniques, and his craft is refined enough to turn his own body into a temporary prison for a demon. By his own claim, only one bearing the name Yomi may enter the realm where that spirit was bound. Though never shown trading blows, he moves at blinding speed, seeming to teleport from front to back among the Gang of Four to inject them. He cracked the seal on Moryo's tomb with a shockwave from his palm, possibly a form of the Shrine Seal, and endures extreme pain, opening his own chest with a scalpel, which spilled no blood but a dark void, then stitching it shut in seconds. Possession by Moryo also handed him command of the Ghost Army.
