Once Mu is spotted, Kabuto channels through him to call up the Third Raikage, the Second Mizukage, and the Fourth Kazekage onto the field held by the Fourth Division, boasting that he will have these Kage cut down their own descendants with their minds intact. As the revived leaders trade a few words, Gaara pinpoints them with his Third Eye and readies his division. At the Allied Shinobi Forces command post, the Sensor Division looks toward the coast of the Land of Lightning while Ao works to single out reincarnated fighters hidden among the White Zetsu clones.

Realizing that Darui's division faces far too many powerful revived shinobi to handle alone, A grows more alarmed when he recognizes the Gold and Silver Brothers of Kumogakure among them. He resolves to join the fight in person, but Shikaku Nara, the Alliance's chief strategist, talks him out of it by reshaping the entire battle formation so every division can be reinforced. Deeply impressed, A commends Tsunade and tells Shikaku to put the plan into motion. Onoki then cuts in, insisting that he alone can bring down Mu thanks to their shared kekkei tota, and prepares to move out, determined to show the younger generation what real combat looks like.

Kabuto uses Mu to summon three more reincarnated Kage against the Fourth Division, and Gaara locates them with the Third Eye. The appearance of the Gold and Silver Brothers nearly draws A into direct combat until Shikaku's revised formation persuades him otherwise. Onoki claims Mu as his own opponent on the strength of their matching kekkei tota.
