Summary

Naruto throws himself into the fight raging on the bridge with a showy arrival that draws Kakashi's anger rather than gratitude, since a hidden approach would have carried far more advantage. Zabuza flings shuriken his way, only for Haku to knock them aside with mid-air needles and to plead for the chance to handle the newcomer himself. Sasuke, still caged within the Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals, gets no help from Kakashi, who is tied down guarding Sakura and Tazuna.

Key Events

A kunai hurled by Sasuke pulls Haku's focus back onto him, and the masked opponent sinks into the reflective panels to press on. Kakashi calls for Sasuke to hammer the mirrors from inside while Naruto probes them from outside to learn how they operate, but Naruto, clueless about the technique, blunders straight into the frozen prison. Sasuke snaps that his teammate is a hopeless fool now that both of them are stuck. A Great Fireball fails to generate enough heat to warp the ice, and Naruto's swarm of shadow clones, meant to shatter every mirror at once, is cut down by Haku within seconds. Haku admits he takes no pleasure in killing but will do so should the situation demand it.
