Overview
The Earth Release Team, also styled the Earth Style Squad, formed a subdivision of the First Division within the Allied Shinobi Forces. An Iwagakure shinobi took charge of the unit, which was stocked with practiced users of Earth Release techniques.
Role
Their strength showed when they raised stone walls sturdy enough to hem in and gradually wear down Kinkaku while he raged in his six-tailed form, holding him for a short stretch with an assist from Darui. The effort came at a steep price. During the Fourth Shinobi World War the team was annihilated by Kinkaku as they and their captain Darui fought to bring down the pseudo-jinchūriki.
Notable Members
An unnamed shinobi from Iwagakure led the squad's earth-wielders in the field. Darui, serving as their captain, stood alongside them in the clash with Kinkaku, one of the few to survive the encounter that destroyed the rest of the team.
