Overview

Appearing in Naruto Shippuden the Movie, the Gang of Four consisted of four shinobi who took their orders from Yomi. Setsuna held the title of leader beneath him. Each fighter wore a distinct trigram on his uniform marking an element: lightning for Setsuna, water for Shizuku, wind for Kusuna, and fire for Gitai.

Role

The group first struck the site where the demon Moryo lay sealed, cutting down its guards with ease thanks to the power boost Yomi granted through his chakra-injection technique. After seizing swathes of territory using Moryo's Ghost Army, Yomi ordered the four to assassinate Shion, the priestess able to reseal the demon. Kusuna, the team's medical-nin, alone could handle the chakra snakes of Yomi's method, so he doled out the special chakra to the others and effectively directed the operation.

Notable Members

Setsuna carried the formal rank of leader, yet Kusuna often gave the orders during the raid on Shion's compound, even filing the report on the target he wrongly believed was dead. The three combatants leaned far too hard on their enhanced chakra, spending it recklessly on trivial matters. Gitai drank the power straight down and blew himself apart when it turned unstable. When the survivors drained themselves trying to flush out Shion, their enemies pounced on that opening and finished the remaining members before they could restock.
