Team 2

Led by Yuki Minazuki, this Leaf Village genin cell first brought together Itachi Uchiha, Tenma Izumo, and Shinko Inari, all newly out of the Academy. Their strong opening year set them apart quickly, but the team never held a stable roster for long.

Thanks to an outstanding first-year record, the group was handed the ceremonial honour of guarding the Land of Fire's daimyo during his regular visits to Konoha. That prestige turned costly when the masked man, Obito Uchiha, struck during the escort and killed Tenma. The loss pushed Shinko to abandon the ninja path entirely, and the two were succeeded by fresh graduates Yoji Aburame and Himuka Suzukaze.

The rebuilt lineup lasted only months. Itachi soon left after his promotion to chunin, and Yoji vanished without a word into Anbu service. Himuka remained, and with two additional recruits filling the gaps, the team resumed its duties under Yuki. In an earlier anime job, the squad was sent to Sora-ku to catch a particular ninneko whose whiskers were required for a medicine, a humbling string of failures that Itachi finally ended by capturing the cat himself.

Yuki Minazuki captained the cell across its shifting membership. Itachi Uchiha stands as its most famous graduate, joined at the start by Tenma Izumo and Shinko Inari, and later by Yoji Aburame and Himuka Suzukaze.
