Appearance
Kunitachi is an ordinary working man who looks after a park in Juuban. One striking shift marks him during his ordeal: after his energy is drained, his hair turns white, as though several years were pulled from him all at once.
History
Kunitachi minds a park in Juuban, and word that it will be flattened to make room for a shopping outlet leaves him fearful for the animals living there. Nephrite, operating under the alias Masato Sanjoin, approaches him and dangles a way to rescue the forest, planting a youma called Petasos inside his hat. Under that grip he grows sullen and resentful toward humanity, insisting that people deserve nature's fury rather than its gifts, and the bitterness lingers even after the demolition is called off. Once Petasos bursts free of him and is defeated, he is freed from the creature's hold and is thought to have returned to caring for the park.
