Rikiya Koyama is a Japanese actor and voice actor affiliated with Haiyuza Theatre Company who provides the Japanese voice of Hideo Kuze in the Ghost in the Shell franchise.
Koyama voices Hideo Kuze, the revolutionary hacker and childhood friend of Major Motoko Kusanagi, in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG. Kuze leads the refugee group Individual Eleven and becomes one of the season's central figures, torn between old loyalties and a radical new cause. Koyama's low, measured delivery gives the character a weary conviction that carries through his later appearances across the wider Stand Alone Complex continuity.
Beyond anime, Koyama has lent his voice to major franchises such as Naruto Shippuden (Yamato), Hunter x Hunter (Ging Freecss), and the long-running Case Closed, where he has voiced Kogoro Mouri since 2009. He frequently plays imposing, larger-than-life villains, including Coyote Starrk in Bleach and the Deep Sea King from One Punch Man. Outside animation, he serves as the regular Japanese dub voice for Hollywood stars like George Clooney, Dwayne Johnson and Keanu Reeves.
