Gameplay

Play centers on a grid of sliding tiles rather than free swapping. Moving blocks into lines of three of the same type clears them and sends the paired EVA into an attack on the Angel on screen. Chaining multiple clears in sequence builds combo damage and score bonuses, and later stages introduce Angels appearing back to back to raise the difficulty.

Media Magic released the game for Android and iOS on August 21, 2012, the same day Taito and COPRO put out the separate Evangelion MEMORIA app, part of a cluster of Evangelion mobile titles that reached Japanese app stores that summer.
