Gameplay

The disc centers on nine standalone minigames, including an Evangelion trivia quiz, a memory game built around the flashing lenses of Gendo's glasses, and a maze where Shinji has to fetch beer for Misato from vending machines. Beating them earns packs of digital cards toward a complete album.

Development and Release

Sega developed and published the disc for Sega Saturn in Japan on September 25, 1997. Later retrospectives rank it as the least essential of the Saturn era Evangelion releases, since its card browsing novelty aged quickly once fans could find the same clips and art online.
