Hina

Hina's fur is mainly a soft brown, with deeper patches marking each cheek. She dresses plainly in a red kimono worn over mesh armour and tied shut with an unadorned white sash. On first meeting her and Denka, Suigetsu took the talking pair for tanuki rather than the cats they actually are.

By temperament Hina is placid and rather agreeable, letting insults roll off her. When Suigetsu branded the two of them talking tanuki, she stayed perfectly composed, a sharp contrast to Denka, who took visible offence at the remark.

Her fighting skill has never really been on show, though Sasuke warned that Suigetsu would be turned into a scratching post if he provoked her or Denka. During the hunt for Itachi, Sasuke arrived at the aging supply base with Hebi, and the two cats met the group by the door, delighted to see him again. When Suigetsu handled them as if they were ordinary strays, Denka bristled and hissed while Hina only wanted to know whether Sasuke had thought to bring any treats. Once Sasuke cautioned Suigetsu about the pair and stated his business, she and Denka took the visitors along to Nekobaa and Tamaki, where supplies could be gathered.
