Gameplay

Battles play out as a tactical RPG. Players build their crew as they progress and can even bring former enemies such as Alvida and Kuro on board under the right conditions, along with signing on canon members out of their usual order.

Story and Setting

The game adapts the East Blue saga, carrying Luffy from Foosha Village through Arlong Park. Because recruitment is flexible, events can unfold out of sequence, for example taking on Nami before Zoro.

Development and Release

Alpha Unit developed the game and Banpresto published it in Japan on April 27, 2001. It stayed a Japan-only release, and a follow-up, Grand Line Dream Adventure Log, arrived the next year.
