Gameplay

The game keeps the board-game and role-playing structure of its PlayStation source, moving the crew across a map as they progress. It reworks that older adventure for handheld play while adding fresh content tied to later chapters of the story.

Story and Setting

The plot opens with the Straw Hats dreaming of a cloaked boy playing a sea horn underwater. They wake with no memory of Robin or of being pirates, so Robin sets out to reunite the crew, restore their memories, and uncover the cause. New material draws from the Sky Island Saga and the Long Ring Long Land arc.

Development and Release

Artdink developed the game and Bandai published it as a remake of the 2003 PlayStation title One Piece: Ocean's Dream! It launched for Game Boy Advance in Japan on April 28, 2005, and remained exclusive to that region.
