Gameplay

The sequel keeps the 3D arena fighting of the original while growing the playable lineup to twelve. Each fighter carries distinct combos and spiritual techniques, and story mode branches so a chosen character follows their own path through events.

Story

Its narrative spans the Soul Society arc, running from the Sneak Entry chapters through the Rescue chapters. Playing different characters surfaces different battles, so Ichigo's route and a captain's route cover separate moments of the arc.
