Akimoto is a background figure from Fruits Basket who once ran with The Ladies, the violent all-girl crew that Arisa Uotani joined in middle school. Gentler than the rest of the pack, she quietly steered Arisa toward a better life and helped rescue her from the gang.
Towering at roughly six feet, Akimoto cuts a striking figure among her peers. A prominent mole sits just below her mouth, and her black hair is cropped short. Her eyes are a pale grey and noticeably sharp. True to her yankee image, she usually favors a casual dress paired with a collared shirt.
Despite taking part in crime and running with a brutal gang, Akimoto came across as far more thoughtful and warm than the women around her. Like Arisa, she seems to have long wished for a way out and a fresh start away from that life, something she finally reached after quietly stepping in to protect her friend.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Within The Ladies, Akimoto joined the others in causing chaos: brawling, setting fires, taking beatings, and fleeing from police. Learning that the legendary Red Butterfly, Kyoko Honda, had settled nearby, she pointed Arisa toward the chance to meet her idol. Of everyone in that world she was the nearest thing to a true friend Arisa had before the Hondas, openly rooting for the younger girl's happiness and admitting she genuinely cared for her.
Her concern deepened as Arisa cooled on Kyoko even after the encounter and eventually abandoned school entirely. When the gang turned on Arisa for trying to leave and nearly killed her, Akimoto knew she stood no chance against them alone, so she sprinted to Kyoko for help. Word later spread that she relocated somewhere distant once Arisa was safe, and no one saw her after that.
