Appearance

A long horizontal scar crosses the left of Tofu's forehead and runs up into his hairline. Tall and heavily built with a light complexion, he wears his spiky black hair in a ponytail, keeps long sideburns, and has bushy brows. His clothes are a light blue shirt under a green, yellow-striped vest, dark blue trousers, and brown warmers at the wrists.

Personality

Selfless and warm, Tofu looked on the whole of his village and everyone in it as family, an outlook close to a Hokage's. He toiled to shield them all, beating back any would-be raider and holding morale and calm steady across the settlement, which won him the love of his people and above all of his daughter. A cheerful sort, he happily joined the townsfolk in good-natured contests, yet stayed humble and shrewd as their bedrock, often seeking the villagers' views so he would not act in haste.

History

During his time as village head, Tofu had just one child, Kiri, and made it his work to guard the settlement from raids while steering it toward prosperity. His crowning project was a bridge meant to draw stronger trade. That trust from the people was total, and he backed it with genuine muscle, often turning back assaults on his own and routinely winning the local arm-wrestling bouts. His run came to an end when Iori poisoned him in a scheme to claim the bridge's deed on behalf of the Pale Blue Village, after which Kiri took over her father's post.
