Gameplay

The game alternates between an adventure mode carrying story scenes and a simulation mode handling unit movement and combat. Fighters are grouped into three man teams, each with its own attacks and special moves, and players can equip gear such as chakra pills, healing items, and ranged tools like kunai and shuriken. Only Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and occasionally Kakashi are available on a first playthrough, with the rest of the cast unlocked by beating them in side story missions.
