Summary

Trapped in the theater hut, Korosensei is made to watch a film Mimura edited that airs his most humiliating moments, dragging on for hours while he squirms. He belatedly notices water flooding the hut is the natural high tide, and at that cue Nakamura, Okano, Isogai, and Terasaka open fire to shear off seven tentacles, sharply cutting his speed. The class then tears the hut apart with speedboats and springs from the sea in water-jet packs to cage him, firing wide to block every escape, while the hidden snipers Chiba and Hayami surface to strike from behind.

An explosion scatters everyone across the water, but Korosensei survives as a tiny crystal sphere, his perfect defense form, unbreakable yet immobile and lasting only a day. The students despair that their finest attempt has failed.

Key Events

Ritsu's analysis shows a fifty percent chance of a kill had Chiba fired a half second sooner or Hayami aimed slightly higher, deepening the snipers' gloom. Back at the resort, Nakamura collapses with a fever, Okajima suffers a severe nosebleed, and half the class falls ill. Karasuma then takes a call from a private number: the caller has infected the students with a contagious, lethal artificial virus and holds the only antidote, demanding Korosensei be delivered by the two smallest students to a mountaintop hotel within the hour.

The hotel's guarded privacy shields it even from government inquiry, so Korosensei devises a plan, sending Ritsu ahead to scout while Takebayashi and Okuda stay behind to tend the sick. The healthy students reach the cliffs, and their teacher declares they will storm the hotel and seize the antidote by force.
