Also trading under the name Higashikata Fruit Parlor, the company deals in premium seasonal produce, from Ruby Roman grapes to pickled plums, sold at steep prices under lavish brand names like Versailles and Jirou. Its heart is a fruit shop in Morioh's commercial district, sited deliberately to catch passing shoppers, with a dessert parlor set above it that both clears unsold stock and keeps customers loyal. The firm also cultivates its own orchards on the Higashikata property and maintains an underground facility for researching and storing fruit trees.

The current head, Norisuke Higashikata IV, insists on stocking only the finest produce available, and the sourcing side of the business rests on two employees. His eldest son, Jobin, travels abroad to seek out prized imports and close deals, while a secret plant appraiser works alongside Norisuke to judge the commercial worth of the company's plants.

Beneath this respectable trade lies a darker purpose. With Jobin's cooperation and without Norisuke's knowledge, the operation smuggles Rock Humans and the Locacaca fruit into Japan disguised as routine shipments, turning the business into the Locacaca Organization's cover.

Norisuke Higashikata I set up the company following the celebrated Steel Ball Run, sinking his six-million-yen winnings into the venture, and his son-in-law Johnny Joestar helped build it by pioneering the importation of foreign fruit into Japan. Generations later it is run by Norisuke Higashikata IV, the founder's great-grandson, who established the Morioh shop, though his son Jobin is credited with the business savvy that made it thrive. Jobin's recruitment by the Rock Humans is what quietly turned the enterprise into a smuggling front, and the plant appraiser Rai Mamezuku also numbers among those tied to its work.
