Appearance

The Forest King looms as a colossal walking tree, rising several stories over the heroes who face him. Thick branches sprout from his trunk to serve as limbs, and a second face sits embedded in his abdomen. Five inky black eyes stud his head above a mouth pocked with hollow, hole-like openings.

Personality

He views humanity as nothing more than raw fertilizer, mere fuel for his ambition to bring back the planet's vanished forests. Their lives carry no weight at all against that goal.

History

Sovereign of the Forest Tribe, the Forest King entered the fray after Hero Association heroes wounded his followers in Y-City. He overwhelmed and seized the attacking heroes with ease, the mighty S-Class Tanktop Master among them, held fast by a single one of his branches. That branch-driven strength let him grind foes to pulp, while his bark shrugged off even a full tackle without a mark, and his command over plant life turned his own limbs into snaring, crushing weapons. Just as he prepared to feed the captured heroes to his kind as fertilizer, a newly upgraded Genos arrived, wiped out the entire tribe, and struck the Forest King down. He holds the distinction of being the first Dragon-level threat Genos destroys single-handedly in the manga.
